We look forward to seeing everyone again in the Spring for the outdoor season.  In the meantime, please do come along and join the short mat sessions on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 2-4pm and Friday evenings from 6 - 8pm.  On Friday evenings we will also be playing darts as well as the short mat bowls, so please bring your darts with you on Fridays and join us for a fun evening.  See you there!

 

Race Night Saturday 28th March 2026 

 

Come and join us at the clubhouse for the first social event of 2026 for an evening of betting and fun starting at 7pm until late.  The entrance fee is £5 which will include a pulled pork bap/veggie burger.  Betting and entrance fee is by CASH only.  However your card can be used to buy drinks at the bar.

It promises to be a great evening and we welcome all members and their guests to kick off the new season.

Can all members please attend the taster sessions that have been organised to attract new members to the club.  Your help in introducing visitors to the sport of lawn bowling is vital for the economy of the club.  We look forward to seeing everyone in team shirts at each of the session dates listed please.  Put the dates in your diaries.

During the closed season we are inside the club house to play short mat bowls and there are regular sessions held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1.45pm until 4pm and Friday evenings from 6pm.
 
Please do come along for an enjoyable couple of hours and a way of keeping in contact with other members during the closed season. We have a break in the middle of the session where we have a mug of tea/coffee and biscuits. There is a cost of £2.50 per short mat session on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
